How to make a dream come true

There are dreams that I’ve realized, and there are dreams still waiting to be…

Some dreams remain small while some keep growing in a big and scary way.

Some dreams exude presence & colorfulness while some stay still,

Keep hiding behind their own shadows.

Sometimes victories and failures live side by side,

While expectations and disappointments keep each other company.

Sometimes dreams come true , and sometimes dreams colide…

If there’s one thing I’ve learned,

That I would like to share with you from my personal experience,

One thing about turning your dreams into a reality,

Is that in order to understand how to make a dream come true,

One must start dreaming, and more percisely,

One must dare dreaming… in all shapes and colors!

For me, sharing with you these lines and thoughts is in a way

A dream coming true for me, a dream I didn’t dare to dream until 2 years ago.

Sometimes dreams live inside of us consciously,

And sometimes people and occurrences in our lives function as a trigger,

That brings to life the dreams we’ve almost forgotten..

But only almost.. and that’s where the story of my dream begins:

“You must open a blog, ’cause your unique self-expression and lovely personality

Are a winning combination ” – She wrote to me in the afternoon of a summery day

“I’ll definitely give it some thought” – I responded,

And we continued to correspond with each other on some other matters.

Did I give it a serious thought? At that moment, besides the self doubts

And overbearing fears that inundated me, not really…

Sometimes it just feels more comfortable to let our fears paralyse us,

Instead of finding the strength within to rise above and overcome those fears.

Doesn’t it?

Since then weeks have pasted, months as well, and the way life goes,

It has found out a way, that would keep on bringing me and my fears together,

And somewhere in between all those encounters,

Something in me just changed..

And then I recalled that correspondence back from 2 years ago,

Echoing inside my mind so loudly…

And now what?

I’m reflecting on the words and sensations that assemble these lines –

My first blog 🙂

An important lesson I’ve learned: That each and everytime I allow my fears

To choose for me, I lose another piece of myself,

Another piece of life.

So I’ve concluded that the bigger the fear, the greater the dream is,

And each time fear reveals itself to me, it enables me

To take advantage of the opportunity to start living for real,

And not just survive.

So embrace your fears, today, right now, and grant yourselves with the opportunity

To start living, truly, and courageously realize the dreams

You haven’t dared to,

Until now!

  1. cartierbraceletlove Hey there! I realize this is somewhat off-topic however I needed to ask. Does operating a well-established website like yours take a large amount of work? I’m completely new to operating a blog but I do write in my journal on a daily basis. I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my personal experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!

Hi there(-: About your question, it took me an intire year and lots of time and hard work to build my website (I did it entirely on my own) so that I could operate it properly. Mantaining a website takes time & effort too, but for me, it’s all worth it. For you, I believe that operating a blog and not an entire website should take much less time. I’d recommend you to look for more useful information online, starting with Youtube, there’s a lot of useful information there to help you getting started. Good luck (-:

Try as much as you can to keep an open mind and an open heart, listening doesn’t necessarily mean agreeing with the opinions of others, but it definitely means respecting: the place of different opinions and perspectives than yours (:
